Brenda Richards, MSN, RN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC


Nurse Practitioner, Brenda Richards, MSN-RN, APRN-CNP, AGNP, PMHNP-BC, initially had a career in business as an account executive.  She has a B.S. degree in Business Management with a Minor in Human Resources from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, graduating magna cum laude in 2007. She would later earn her BSN from Oral Roberts University in 2013, graduating summa cum laude.  

Brenda has worked in the ICU, intermediate ICU, infusion, medical-surgical units, cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation, and has geriatric, palliative, end-of-life, and hospice experience.  

She then earned her MSN from Regis College in 2019 as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, graduating summa cum laude. While working in private psychiatric practice for three years, Brenda completed her post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in 2022, graduating summa cum laude. Brenda has experience working with personality, mood, and anxiety disorders, adults, women’s health, as well as ADHD/ADD.   

She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has been happily married to her beloved husband for over 20 years.  Brenda and her husband enjoy traveling, kayaking, and hiking, while she also enjoys reading, cycling, and training for sprint triathlons – preferably with their dog at their side.
